Indian Walkabout...

We journeyed outside the confines of the Royal Orchid hotel in search of the company offices. It turns out that there are two of them nearby. Once we left the hotel - we saw a couple stray dogs roaming the streets with several street vendors, lots of scooters and motor cycles, and many of those auto-rickshaws.

Every auto-rickshaw driver we passed followed us hoping that we'd take a ride with them. But this time we wanted to walk.

Here's our first view of traffic in Bangalore on Airport Road. Everybody's beeping, and its a STRAIGHT ROAD -- what's up with that?

After walking two more short blocks - We found the office which houses the software developers. If it wasn't for the surrounding area - this could easily have been California or Virginia.

We started walking the other direction about 4 more blocks in search of the other office. On the way - we passed something familiar...a TGI Fridays!

Then as we got closer to the second office - I caught a whiff of that stinky river.... We must have made a circle. Crap! (no pun intended)

One of the more important historical landmarks in Bangalore is the armless Penguin. He represents good luck to anybody that can throw trash into him. Unfortunately - we had no trash at the time - so hopefully that will not come back to bite us.
